MBTA SUBWAY STOPS: Northeastern University sits conveniently on two MBTA (the "T") subway lines, the Green Line and the Orange Line. On the Orange Line, get off at the Ruggles stop. On the Green Line, get off at the Northeastern University stop.
BUS LINES: Several bus lines serve the Northeastern campus, including the 1, 277, 39, 43, and CT1.
TRANSIT FROM THE AIRPORT: The MBTA (the "T) runs from the airport to Northeastern, but all trips on the T from the airport involve at least one transfer. From the airport take the blue line shuttle bus to the Blue Line airport stop. Board the Blue Line toward Bowdoin. At State Street transfer to the Orange Line toward Forest Hills. Get off at the Ruggles stop on the Orange Line.
Alternate T route: From the airport take the Silver Line bus to South Station. At South Station board the Red Line toward Alewife. Go one stop, get off and transfer to the Orange Line. Take the Orange Line toward Forest Hills. Get off at the Ruggles stop on the Orange Line.
