In this International Year of Cooperatives, we recognize that not only do inspiring cooperatives call Boston home, but so do a number of inspiring efforts to develop cooperatives in developing countries (Global South). This panel will explore some of these efforts to support co-ops in developing countries and consider the questions- How are cooperatives relevant to communities in developing countries? How might domestic and international co-op development efforts demonstrate solidarity with each other? How do these development efforts analyze and manage power dynamics inherent in international development?
