Regional Experiments in Principle 6

How can we create and sustain thriving regional cooperative economies? From Puget Sound to the Pioneer Valley, cooperative movement builders are starting by working together locally across coop sectors. They're engaging consumer coops in worker coop development; creating "big tent" business associations that include food coops, credit unions, and producer co-ops in a shared development strategy; and convening think tanks to catalyze leadership development, clustered incubation, and public outreach. This workshop will showcase diverse emerging models for place-based multi-sector cooperation from around the country.
