Interests: Aaron has been a worker owner at Equal Exchange, a Fair Trade Massachusetts worker coop with over 110 employees, 102 coops members and a 25 year history of growth, Fair Trade and democratic practice, for over 8 years. For the past five years, Aaron has been a Customer Service Manager and for two years served as the elected Worker Owner Cabinet; setting coop meeting agendas and facilitating 6 coop meetings per year. He is also the elected board member on the US Federation of Worker Cooperatives for the Eastern Region and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Management - Cooperatives and Credit Unions through the University of St. Mary's in Halifax, Canada. Involvement in worker coops runs in Aaron's family. His father, Steven Dawson, is a co-founder of the ICA Co-op Loan Fund and helped to set up Cooperative Home Care Associates in New York City.
